About Me: Following my retirement, after 38 years as a school teacher and administrator, I began to develop a series of multimedia presentations based on my first love, the performing arts. My list of current program subjects includes Broadway musicals, film, opera, 20th century song writers and vocalists, and radio and television programs of the "Golden Age." New lecture topics are added periodically and several are the result of requests by audience members at past events.
Even though these programs are referred to as "lectures," I always make a point of having each presentation be as interactive as possible by engaging the attendees via questions and answers, comments, and personal experiences, both theirs and mine. My goal is to make the overall experience both entertaining and informative.
I recently had the opportunity to be interviewed by the Oyster Bay Arts Council on WCWP Radio (88.1 FM). You can listen to the entire interview by clicking on the arrow below.
Finally, since none of this would be possible without the love and support of my wonderful wife Dana, here is a photo of us at our daughter Ashley’s wedding in 2013.
