Great Broadway Duets

Picture

Among the most enthralling moments in any Broadway musical is when two of the leading performers combine their voices in song.  The result can often be one of the highlights of the entire production, as witnessed by such examples as “Where or When” from Rodgers and Hart’s “Babes in Arms," “You’re the Top” from Cole Porter’s “Anything Goes." and “Make Believe” from Kern and Hammerstein’s “Showboat."  During this program we will have an opportunity to watch singers past and present such as Howard Keel, Mary Martin, Sutton Foster, Hugh Jackman, and Sierra Boggess perform some of the most beloved duets in the history of American musical theater.
